I had never heard of Leonard Cohen until I saw him on a recent Public Television special. He's a poet-songwriter-singer who does really haunting, beautiful stuff. I suppose everyone else here heard about him decades ago.
I volunteered to be "Single in the City" Captain and no one vetoed the idea, so I guess I am it Wink. My question is what do I do?!?http://www.eluxurysall.com/ I guess the obvious is to generate ideas and/or questions on how to solve the problems with cooking for one. http://www.eluxurysin.com/ Many of you have suggested many practical ideas (see "new here" post started by me). For me, freezing is not always an option, small freezer. http://www.panbeadssales.com/ One way to avoid making a whole recipe is to cut a recipe in half - many times creating 2-3 servings then.
...I have his first CD in my car right now, in fact.
I just ordered "For Your Entertainment (EU Edition) (Incl. Bonus Tracks)" from Amazon.com. Even if the bonus tracks aren't any good, the cover art is "more cool" than the USA version.
I have pretty diverse musical tastes. My last Amazon.com order included a Gospel CD by Mahalia Jackson, a Punk CD by the Sex Pistols, and a CD of Classical Pipe Organ music.
BTW, in his latest YouTube video, "Adam Lambert - If I Had You" his performance is in Full Glam Rocker Mode.
That video is FIERCE. I'll say here what I said to my gay friends when I sent them this link...I don't care if he plays for the other team...he is still sexy as hell.
I am definitely in the Adam Lambert should have won Americal Idol camp. I love his music and his performance. I have his first CD in my car right now, in fact.

The only version I could find of Jeff actually singing it on the video was slightly different than the recorded version that I'm used to.

That group called Celtic Thunder did Hallelujah on PBS tonight. They are doing fundraisers so I don't know how often they will play this particular concert. I don't really care for Celtic Thunder as much as I do Celtic Woman because they don't seem to do very much celtic music. The video appears to be from the concert that was broadcast in PBS.
I haven't watched music videos since MTV was a young whippersnapper, so I couldn't tell you what videos I liked best.
I have, of course, seen a few artists on YouTube like Tay Zonday of "Chocolate Rain" fame plus Susan Boyle when she was on Britain's Got Talent, but not much more than that.
