OK, I admit it, I'm not very high tech and have never visited chat rooms, and this is the first online forum I've joined.
I need help! I don't know all the lingo you guys use! I've figured out MIL must be mother in law, but what is dh? designated hitter? ) Also what is all this flying stuff?

That isn't so dumb a question. I don't understan the flychat either but my computer is quite old so I doubt I can do it anyway. I don't understand the homework assignments either. I new to the site (a few months) But I get limited time because of my illness. Brenaumom helps me a lot with questions and support.

Here are a few more. I didn't know what they meant either .

mil=mother in law
sil=sister in law
bil=brother in law
dd=dear (or darling) daughter
ds=dear son (very few of them are darlings )

dgf= girl friend
dbf= boy friend

Can't think of any others right now. There was a website that explained a lot of them but I don't remember what it was. I had it bookmarked on my old computer. Maybe someone else remember what it is.

Currently I don't have my own computer (use the library's) so I can't install it, but hopefully I'll do it in the future. Sounds like fun!

I bumped up the weekly flychat thread about a week ago to help explain it to new folks. I'll bump it up again. Look for a thread either called Weekly Flychat or Monday Flychat.
