What exercises are people planning/doing this week?

Good grief. Where did summer go? It seems like we barely had one.

Thursday and Friday: Off

I'm not sure if I injured myself during the Denise Austin weight workout Wednesday morning or am having a recurrence of my carpal tunnel syndrome, but I've had pain in my right wrist every since Wednesday's workout. So that was part of the reason for taking THursday and Friday off but part of the reason was my overall attitude problem this week. I've been wearing my wrist brace and taking Advil on and off since Wednesday and am feeling better as long as I don't overdo it on using my hands (esp. on the computer).

Saturday: Two workouts--
1. Denise Austin warmup, cardio & cooldown (30-35 mins.)
2. Biggest Loser strength & sculpt & cooldown (25-30 mins.)


Personal Healthy Habits Challenge - 10/1 to 12/31/08:
1. Exercise: Get back to consistently working out 3-5 X week.
2. Food: Get back to consistently preparing healthy lunches for the week with increased veg servings.
3. Behavior: Reduce intake of sweets.

Friday: A fairly brisk 4.44 mile walk in the park reserve.

Friday 1 hour water aerobics done.
Friday pm plan 1.5-2 mile walk from car to the game and back.

I plan on getting to the YMCA 4 days this week. So far I have gone 1.

Wednesday: Denise Austin's Fat-Blasting Workout (30 mins.)

I just got this rental DVD from Netflix last night. I watched the cardio segment (since my cardio was yesterday) and then did the warmup plus the strength/sculpt workout.

I thought I would give Denise a second chance but MAN she annoys the crud out of me. It is mostly her voice...it sounds like a woman with a high voice (like me) trying to forcibly talk in a lower register. And then there is this horribly annoying breathy quality to her voice that just grates on my nerves. It is hard fo rme to see how she is one of the biggest selling names in fitness because I can barely get through a tape without wanting to throttle her.

Tues 29th - I just learned a whole new set of weight training tonight...as well as 30 mins on the treadmill.

This work out is for 3 times a week. The 1st Day is Push & Triceps, 2nd Day is Pull and Biceps and 3rd Day is Legs..and each of those day's I have to do 200 reps of Abs as well as 30-40 mins of Cardio..

This routine will be for 5 weeks..Wish me luck..

Tuesday: 1.4 pedometermiles mowing the lawn.

Monday: I had a long, frustrating day with Comcast and a bunch of other errands and I planned to do the workout when I got back home but totally forgot about it.

Tuesday: Turbo Jam Cardio Party 1 (45 mins.)

Sunday 27th - Body Squat, Calf Raise, Chest Press, DB Bicep Curls, Lat Pulldown, Leg Curls, Low Back, Shoulder Press, Tricep Pushdowns as well as 30 mins on the treadmill.

Will be learning a whole new routine at the gym on Tuesday. Look forward to the change..
