Going to do the "Metabolism Boost" 48 min DVD.

And eat on plan.

Scale is acting more "normally". Was 129.5 on Sat, and 129 on Sun, and 128.5 today.

Was 127.5 on June 13thRoll Eyes ...

But I am hopeful that I may actually be down by Friday... shall see. Smiler

I'm happy.

I ate 1609 calories, and according to Fitday.com (which has always worked for me in the past), burned 2213 calories.

So, that is a very decent deficit of 604 calories.

I was super hungry today- just plain old hungry. I added 1 c skim milk to my plan because I know that it satisfies me and does little damage. So, I am calling the day a success

I was down 3 pounds today so thankfully most of my trip weight seems to have been "water". It was nice to see the scale moving downward though.

Today has been great. I'm at about 1200 cals for the day (I was shooting for a light day) and I got in almost 9 miles this morning plus weight work (upper body and core) this afternoon. I wanted to make the most of the nice weather as the forecast is for rain for the rest of the week.

Out of our beliefs are born deeds; out of our deeds we form habits; out of our habits grows our character; and on our character we build our destiny.

I'm grateful that I seem a "normal" level of hungry today.

I logged on fitday and kept my total fat percentage low today. It's amazing how committing to 10% total fat calories helps one stay clean with food. The more I learn about the effects of dietary fat on vulnerable blood vessels, however, the more willing I become to eat salads/veg and whole grains for most meals.

One of my big goals is to halt the progression of this disease or even reverse it to some extent. The test to see what my vessels look like can be repeated in about 2.5 years. Apparently, it takes time to even stabilize CVD and even more time to begin the reversal process so that the standard is for certain tests to be done only every 3 years.
