Today would have been my 29th Wedding anniversary. DH died 27 years ago yesterday. We eloped with another couple and dd and I still celebrate with them every year. They are dd's godparents. Tonight we are going to Vintage Pizzaria in Chamblee for trivia. The General Manager there said he would have his fabulous chicken noodle soup on the menu tonight.
We had a great time. Since our friends were there we changed our team name from "bookworms" to "3 squares and an oddball" . Dd came up with that name. We are all square dancers except dd (she dropped out of classes). With the help of our friends we came in FIRST!!
Unfortunately, the general manager did not make his chicken noodle soup so I had one slice of pizza and some cheese fries.
and dd and I still celebrate with them every year. They are dd's godparents.
