the person who invented BMI said it was never ot be an indicator of fatness in an individual.


Goals:
1. Enjoy life!
2. Be aware, be awake, pay attention.

Critics misuse BMI, and then blame BMI for their own misue.

Here, from the CDC, is how to properly use/interpret BMI.

Among many other things, BMI was designed to be an "inexpensive and easy-to-perform" initial screening tool. It was not designed to be used as a "diagnostic tool".

In my case, when I had a BMI of 27.5, I had a (Tanita scale) Body Fat Percentage of 32%. Using either measure, I was overweight.
