I have found some great deals and have treated myself. Here is what I found:

2 Silicone cupcake (12 each-Kitchenaid brand) molds (bright red)
at T.J. Maxx for a total of $12.99

2 new bras - very cute- reduced from 24.00 to 2.27 at Marshall Fields

A Calvin Klien Denim skirt (size 6! YAH- not even tight!) marked down from 59.00 to 10.57.

I have had a heck of a few weeks and am so happy to have found some affordable rewards that I generally needed anyway.
Anyone else finding anything great?

Some years ago, I was having foot pain and went to a podiatrist. He took foam forms of my feet and sent them to a company he dealt with in the Northeast (at that time, they were called Benefoot). He said they would analyze the forms and recommended a sneaker. They recommended the New Balance...can't remember the model number. Anyhow, I started buying the model recommended for me and my foot pain went away.

I am STILL wearing New Balance sneakers but, sadly, the model that had been recommended to me, and which I wore for several years, has been discontinued and the model I'm wearing now isn't nearly as good a fit for my foot.

I still recommend New Balance sneakers but, as Peg said, it's all about finding the right shoe for YOUR foot.

No, there was no charge but I did feel like I should buy my shoes there at least the first pair. He spent like 30 min w/me.

I will definitely look into that -- not sure of what stores in my state/area do that but I will make some phone calls.... do they charge for all this??? I'm sure it is probably worth the money.

Tina,
I personally use Saucony shoes but the reason I knew to buy those was I went to a good running store and had myself fitted. They were able to look at my old shoes, put me in various kinds of shoes, watched me walk on a treadmill and all sorts of things before making a recommendation. I was having trouble too before I went and did this. I went once and paid the price at the running place and then bought the shoes online or other retailers in the future but at least I knew what to buy. They will be pricy but there isn't anything more important than good shoes when you are walking/running.

My reward is also a pair of New Balance shoes for sticking to my exercise plans for 1 month.

My reward for keeping my food clean and losing 7 more lbs is the Everything Disney A-Z book that I have been wanting forever!

My weekly reward for working hard towards my goals and staying focused is a self manicure/pedicure.

Here is my personal wish list:
    1. A new pair of New Balance shoes for Spring and Summer. I REALLY need these.
    2. New underwear. I'd like something really nice from Victoria's Secret. I usually only buy there at the semi-annual sale.

A zip-front black leather vest (with sweater-type back) that fits me like a GLOVE and was on the reduced rack at Kohl's (originally $69, I paid $15!).

I have never owned a piece of leather clothing before and have always wanted a leather jacket or vest but haven't been able to find anything to fit. Because of the sweater material on the back of the vest, it allows the vest to conform to my unusual shape whereas if it was fully leather, it would never fit right.

I'm a happy camper and plan to wear the vest to work tomorrow. Smiler

When I hit my next 5 (I reward every 5 pounds) I'm going to get this fabulous glass jar from Pier One to keep my granola in, instead of my ugly gladware. I thought I was hitting it today, darnit. Soon though!

I got the complete DVD set of the second season of Northern Exposure for making through yet another hurdle in my quest to be relocated to a new office space. My reward for making it through the wait until I am moved is going to be a massage and the third season of Northern Exposure.

I deeply want a Roomba. I'm still trying to figure out what awesome accomplishment would warrant that sort of splurge, though-- it would have to be something I had to work for and that I might not otherwise do.

In the meantime, I'm looking at the season 2 DVD set of Alias for a reward soonish, and at some point DH and I need to reward ourselves with ballroom dancing DVDs. (He actually wants to learn to dance with me! Squeee!)

My latest reward will be a set of new curtains from Country Curtains for my new dining room. Its all done in a colonial blue with white accents, so I think i'll get the white ball fringe curtains, but I'm still deciding.

In order to qualify for free shipping (at least that's how I justify it) I got a Lodge 12" cast iron skillet for about $11.

The downside is, now I have a great pan for frying. Red Face

I found silicone pot holders for $4.99 at a local kitchen gadget store and I LOVE them. I can just rinse them off in the sink if stuff gets on them and no heat comes through at all.

My new weight set from MC Sports for $30 : )
