WHOOOHOOO!!!!! I just got finished with weighing in for the week and I am down 7 1/4 lbs! I know the first week you tend to drop a little more than normal, but I am chalking this up to a great start. I have been so cautious over the past week. I even got on the eliptical trainer for 6 minutes last night. 6 minutes may not be much for some people but since I really haven't applied myself extremely well over the past several years it kicked my behind. I even dusted off my old hand weights and did some arm exercises. I am so excited!!!
Okay - I need to get back to work now. Have a good day everyone! Beth

Beth - Congrats!!! I'm a firm believer that any minute up and moving is better than a minute not doing anything!! I remember my first time on the elliptical - it kicked my butt, too. Keep it up and you'll be surprised how fast you progress and how much stronger you'll be very soon.
