Goals: 1. Stop thinking like a chronic dieter and start living to inspire. 2. HALT (hungry, anxious, lonely, tired) I will stop and tune in with myself should I experience these things, and respond with something healthy. 3. One word 2008: courage 4. Eat slow and mindfully.
We will probably go out to breakfast after church. Sunday afternoon I have one of my writing groups. Although all except one are also mothers, this is where their priority is. I hate to miss the group.
We're going up to Muncie, where both of our Mother's live. What DH has planned once we get there, I have no idea.
It will probably be to take them to lunch or something, but I don't know, and I don't know where. (His mom LOVES Red Lobster, so we frequently end up there.)

Well, both of my boys will be gone, one is working and the other is 350 miles away. DH is working, also. Both my son and dh will be feeding other mothers who get to go out for dinner. I am hoping that one of them will invite me for dinner....as they both have beautiful banquets at their respective hotels. Otherwise, it's me and the dog and a salad with fruit, and of course a walk if the weather cooperates.
Summer Challenge Goals:
1. Get out of the house and in the pool four days a week. 2. Schedule meals a week at a time. 3. five fruits and vegetables a day, along with water.

Saturday 2 of my sisters and I are going for either pedis, massages, or both and then a light lunch. Since my mom lives in SC now I am sending her a card and a gift. Sunday I want to spend the day with Morgan, not sure what we will do. Saturday night we are taking bf's mom out for dinner.

Summer Challenge Goals: 1) Walk 30 minutes a day, 5 days a week 2) Plan weekly menus
I've sent my Mother's Day card and ordered flowers for my mother. In recent years, I have sent her a nice wad of cash for her to spend on her senior trips, but since I am about to be a retiree in under 4 weeks, I figured it was time for me to start tightening my belt.
As for myself, I'll be enjoying the only full day off I get at home--Sunday. At least for another few weeks until my retirement.

Saturday, me, mother & dd are going to lunch with my sister and our best friend. After lunch we are going over to my sister's bil's home in Buckhead ("ritzy" part of town ) and tour his gardens. It is part of a big Garden Tour this weekend but mother is not up to all the walking required for the entire tour so we are goig to "sneak" in just for his house. His gardens have been featured in dozenz of magazines and on HGTV.
His house is #4 on the list (couldn't find any pictures):
We have a good weekend planned. Saturday, dd has her piano receital and then in the evening, dh is taking me to a baseball game with good friends of ours.
Sunday, we are taking my mom and grandmother to brunch after church which should be very nice.
I'm sure I'll have a good long cry at church as the day is always bittersweet but that's OK.
Happy early mother's day to all who mother to someone in their lives....
