I thought she was usually on toward the end. I turned it on at 8 a.m. and have had it on for over 2 hours. I saw Mark Bittman cooking, and I saw some Italian family cooking, but no KD.

Did I miss it or did she get bumped?

I've made these turkey burgers 2x now. They are yummy. The first time I followed the directions pretty much exactly except I added onion powder, salt, pepper and I melted a slice of reduced fat provolone on it. Last night I made them at my best friend's house and we added crumbled feta and she had dried minced onion so I used that. We had 3 kids eating with us and they wolfed them down. My friend's son was looking for another one and he hardly ever eats much and I thought sure he would turn his nose up at the spinach. The little girl ate the whole thing and I guess her mom struggles to get her to eat protein. Big win all around.

I served them with avocado slices, I put roasted peppers on mine earlier in the week, tomato slices and fresh spinach.

Good one KD! And easy, peasy!

KD, I thought you looked great and this was one of my favorite segments that you have done in a while. So often you are being rushed. You weren't being rushed today and had time to give tips like how to make a hot dog look bigger and more filling. I really liked this segment. Smiler

I agree totally. I liked that the segment was less rushed and that Hoda and Kathie Lee really seemed interested-so often in segments like cooking the anchors (or whatever they're called) seem to be 1/2 paying attention and too focused on rushing through the segment. That mexican corn looked YUUUUUMY!!

Jill

Goal for next 6 weeks:

Go to the gym 3x/week for a minimum of 45 minutes each time

I wasn't at home but I set my dvr to record the show. Just got home. I think I will watch the video Brie posted instead of having to fast forward thru the whole show Wink.
Later I will find it and copy it onto my tape.
