Ok, I have my timer set, and I'm here to post, and read what I'm able before my timer goes off Smiler In an attempt to be more cognizant of things other than the internet, I'm only allowing myself 60 minutes per day for the internet, and am breaking it up into 1 30 minute session, and 2 15 minute sessions.

Ok, whew! do I need to start over with baby steps! I have gotten so far away from any semblance of healthy living that it is almost embarrassing. We are still eating healthy (when I cook), but we've eaten fast food or take out more times in the past month than I'd care to count. So, I'm here to post my goals for the week (these are pretty general--will be more specific on a daily basis).

My goals for this week (June 14-20)
1. prepare and eat healthy meals for at least 19 meals for the week
2. get moving
3. journal

Here are today's specific plans (Tues, June 15):
1. Breakfast: 2 whole grain toaster waffles, 1/2 of 1 whole egg and 3 egg whites scrambled, watermelon and peach slices
Lunch: 1/2 turkey sandwich on sandwich roll with tomatoes, lettuce, red onion OR turkey sausage on same roll with peppers and onions and sauerkraut; small serving (1/4 cup) potato salad, tomato slices, apricot
Dinner: steak fajitas OR turkey sausage and pepper sandwiches; green bean and new red potato salad; steamed broccoli; watermelon
Snack: air popped popcorn with taco seasoning

2. get moving: 20 minutes pilates, housework and unpacking 3 boxes

3. journaling: today I want to journal about how I'm feeling about some family stuff going on right now (this is in regards to extended family...we moved to Dh's hometown, and back to extended family..our first time in 15 years to live this close to any family)

Will go read some posts now, and will check back again later this afternoon.

So glad to be back! I have really really missed you all!

Blessings,

Lori

Just wanted to say HI!!!

Just sent dh for a veggie whopper - I know what you mean about the fast food!

I'm VERY crunched for time myself as we are having an open house on Sunday. Plus I type soooo slow.

Lori,
Great to see your post. You have a good plan with some concrete steps! Great job.
I agree with you-- preparing meals at home makes all the difference.
