Sheri, I stole your homework... and posted on a WW thread and somebody is asking me about it.
Smiler

It was the Iyanla VanZant "Play to Win..." homework.

Do you (or Lynn) know if she has that in a book or some place?

Thanks! Denise

I wonder if this is happening in "virtual classrooms"?

I know a large number of students who are taking Junior College classes for credit on line.

I can imagine accidently hitting delete and thinking I hit send or something...

I got curious...and went to amazon and did what I suggested you do. There IS a book that mentions playing to win and, in the tiny exerpt I saw from page 57, it looked nearly word for word from what she said on the show. It's from a 1997 book you can see here.

Iyanla has published many books but she never makes reference to them on the show so, unfortunately, I don't know if that particular gem came out of one of her own books. You might try going to amazon.com and searching on the term "play to win" along with "Iyanla VanZant" and see what pops up. Smiler

And as for stealing my homework, they say imitation is the sincerest form of flattery. Big Grin If you stole it, then you must have thought it might encourage some helpful conversation on the WW board...and that's a good thing! Smiler
