Tuesday 11/24 Challenge

I didn't have a great day today. Had some chocolate for snack instead of something healthy and my no carbs/two veggies at dinner went out the window when my mom brought over some seafood paella. I haven't eaten dinner yet and will very much portion control the rice so my calories will be OK today but not what I had planned. Exercise was good though.

I probably won't be on line much the next few days since the family will be home. Tomorrow will be a challenge for me since I'll be home all day with dd baking. My goal is to workout in the morning and then not sample anything. These are tried and true recipes that don't require taste testing!

I plan on my usual for breakfast, a salad for lunch, soup for snack and the dinner that I was supposed to have tonight tomorrow.

If I start to get bored, I'll catch up on some reading and position myself far from the kitchen.

I am pretty good today so far.

Breakfast was oatmeal with a few pecans and dried cherries, lunch was a ww wrap with 1/2 cup chicken salad, tomatoes, and lettuce. Dinner is kind of up in the air right now but I want to make sure whatever it is has lots of veggies.

I worked out for a little over an hour today with my trainer.

Tomorrow morning I will be going to the gym to do cardio.

I have no specific goal(s) right now. I am trying to find the spiritual side of myself that I lost somewhere along the way.

I had my usual breakfast but didn't really have a "lunch".
I was working on getting my AVON order in by noon and fliers and plans for next week's open house and the afternoon sort of slipped away from me. I think I had a pack of snack crackers in there somewhere.
Went to the Y with Dena after she got home from work and then we had a Subway sandwich for dinner while watching Biggest Loser.

i am working at home wednesday, so there are snacks available! always a risky situation but i am determined to stay with a plan.

tuesday was fabulous. i am on the last leg of my TOM, and yesterday, the woman at starbucks paid a fabulous complement to me, so when i start that "OMG, i am a bloated whale" --i will remember her super comments to me.

today, once i make decent progress on my work, i will start baking some things for tomorrow.


Goals:
1. Enjoy life!
2. Be aware, be awake, pay attention.

I've had a good day so far. Lots of retail therapy and walking in the city. Packed a little snack in my purse and had a late lunch at what used to be my favorite stop when I worked downtown. The plan for dinner is turkey and avocado sandwiches (yeah, I know!) because the avocados are about to go south. Will close the kitchen immediately after dinner and relax.
