On Monday, I did really well with eating slowly and mindfully. Skipped a morning snack, and ate a small afternoon snack. Even out to dinner (unplanned) for sushi, I urged DH not to over-order and we all ended up satisfied but not stuffed.
Taking one day at a time and hoping to continue these good habits into the new day.
monday was right on track, and i had the best sleep! oh, i really love good rest!
tuesday so far has been great. all meals on track. 1 hour and 20 minutes workout. i will do more weights this evening (just 10 minutes or so). i feel TOM coming so i am gearing up for more sleep!
Goals: 1. Enjoy life! 2. Be aware, be awake, pay attention. 3. One word 2010: faith

I did great on food yesterday, and today's a really long day at work, so all my food is packed again. I got up early and let Jillian Michaels kick my rear end for an hour, so my exercise is done.
One thing I need to do is slow down my eating. I guess it's back to a few bites and a giant swig of water at meal times.
Life is like a roller coaster, with lots of ups and downs, but the curves, spirals, loops and corkscrews are what make life interesting.
I did pretty well with food last night but ate too fast.
I'm still hacking up a lung and didn't sleep a wink last night despite meds (I've developed an intolerance to my prescription stuff so I'm otc-ing it and it's not cutting it).
I was hoping to get in a run this afternoon but my chest is tight and with this cough that's just a bad idea. I'm actually thinking of taking the entire day off from exercise and trying to nap this afternoon.
Out of our beliefs are born deeds; out of our deeds we form habits; out of our habits grows our character; and on our character we build our destiny.
