Cathy
So sorry to hear that the diagnosis and prognosis were confirmed. I'll be sure to keep you all in my prayers.
You too Heather!

Heather: As you may or may not know my mother is critically ill also. We got the news last night that she does indeed have lung cancer and has about three months. I am going through many of the same emotions that you are. Please e-mail me privately, since I don't have your address....we can share some of each other's pain and support one another.

Prayers and blessings,
Cathy J

Heather, I'm so sorry to hear about your Dad. The holidays are about the worst time ever to have to deal with something like this (though no time is ever good). Be happy that your Dad seems to be at peace with the end and try to take comfort in that. It will help a little but I know from experience that it won't take away your own worry, pain and fear. It's fantastic that you are already being conscious of the impact of this news on your eating habits...good girl!

My best to you and your family.

Heather,
I want to let you know you have someone near by who is thinking of you and your family. If I can do anything, my email is SNANCHOR@aol.com. I am in Marietta, not too far away.

If there is anything I can do, let me know.

Heather
So sorry to hear about your dad. What a crummy time of year to get the news.

It sounds like your dad has a great attitude and I hope that you are able to draw some strenght from him.

Be sure not to leave anything unsaid and enjoy your time together, even if it's long distance.

Hugs to you.
