I actually don't buy much gas at BP because I mostly get my gas at Costco.
One point that someone did make though about the BP boycott is "If you really want BP to pay to clean up this mess, maybe you'd better hold off on the boycott."
I understand that any company can have an accident, but I think how they handle the accident determines what kind of company they are. They have done a dismal job with this situation. Also, on the boycotting, you have to keep in mind that, while upper management is handling things poorly, the workers at the local BP stations have little to do with it, and they will be the ones out of jobs if everyone boycotts.
