Wow, this is the first time I've ever started this thread. NOrmally our East Coast girls start it
I'm down 2 pounds today from last week when I rejoined WW Online. 2 days ago, though, I was down 4 pounds, but it's that TOM right now, so I'm not sure if it is a 2 pound or a 4 pound loss. Either one, I'll take it! If it was a 4 pound, I expect that this week will level off.
Blessings,
Lori

Bee, I have also been retaining like crazy, it finally seems to have gone a bit. I weighed in at 272, so there is still a little more to go (hopefully).

I purposefully didn't weigh in yesterday as I've been retaining water like crazy in this heat. Today, I'm the same as last week which is pounds less than yeseterday. My fingers and ankles are still swollen though so I'm hoping that I have a bit more water retention to get rid of.

I'm up one from the last time I weighed myself (which was I think almost two weeks ago). Knee & eye problems (first one, then the other) kept me from going to the gym for awhile, which is the where I use the scale. I'm not too unhappy about the gain considering my lack of exercise and the constant festivities of the past weekend. Physical problems are now under control...back to the gym!

Wahoo! down 4.5 Have found out something interesting. fro almost 21/2 weeks I did not eat anything with Jalapeno peppers in it. Up went the wieght As soon as I started eating the pepers down it came. So there is something to be said for the capsaicin in peppers
I thought of starting this thread AFTER I'd logged off earlier this morning...so thanks, Lori!
Last week: 160.6
This week: 162.0
One word--UGH!! Three causes: 1) water retention from sodium from eating out Friday, a BBQ on Sunday, and several sandwiches over the weekend with salty meat; and 2) forgetting to take my meds (including my fluid pill) until dinnertime yesterday. Actually, my weight was HIGHER yesterday so the fact that I'm down today, even with having taken my meds 10 hours too late, is a really GOOD sign.
Personal Healthy Habits Challenge - 10/1 to 12/31/08: 1. Exercise: Get back to consistently working out 3-5 X week. 2. Food: Get back to consistently preparing healthy lunches for the week with increased veg servings. 3. Behavior: Reduce intake of sweets.

Congrats about the ONline joining, Lori. It's a good program for those who can motivate themselves, and you are definitely that. I wish I had your motivation.
I weigh in on Thursday AM's a little late for this thread. But I've had to recommit to my plan of following my WW plan, drinking my water and getting to the pool. In fact, I just got home, haven't even changed into my day clothes yet. I've been AWOL for three weeks, not so badly that I should have put on 20 pounds, but enough that I know I am not doing myself any good. It wasn't poor choices totally, it was not being where I was totally in control. I was with my father at the hospital up until a week ago, then at the nursing home, and in between times, setting up a new lifestyle for him. Hospital food is NOT healthy, nursing home food is worse and finding restaurants within walking or should I say hobbling distance wasn't easy. So I ate what I could scrounge up at both places. I made trips home during the week, but then I just ate what was in the fridge that the boys had put together, not healthy. So tomorrow's weigh in will be a start over, draw the line and begin again. And that's okay with me. My lessons learned were, to drive myself, make sure to get out of these places for a few hours a day, if only to eat or get to the grocerystore, and don't leave home without your water bottle!
It's never too late to get it right.

I don't know about the other east coast girls but I forgot it was Wednesday. Yesterday felt like Monday. Then, on top of that, I had a most unusual morning & had breakfast, got dressed and took dd to work so I could put her car in the shop before I remembered to weigh.
It was 213.6 when I did finally weigh. I was very disappointed. I had though with all my extra activity last week and weekend that it would be down a little.
