I don't know if everyone has seen or it's available in your area....but there is a new magazine called "Quick and Simple". Anyway, I picked it up last week. I was reading some diet tips. I wanted to pass it along. I think I'm going to incorporate it.
The woman took 2 jars and filled one with the number of marbles for the pounds needed to lose (1 marble for each pound). The other jar was filled with pounds lost. This was used to serve as a reminder of the overall progress.
I think I may expand on that... and create a jar for NSVs... maybe a marble for each NSV and then take a piece of paper and write down the NSV.

NSV = Non-Scale Victories. Things that are improved due to healthy eating/exercise besides the number on the scale. Can be all sorts of crazy things. If you search NSV on this board, you'll see some fun examples.
Dumb question what is NSV? My computer lingo is very limited.
Good idea though about the marbles , but wonder if my kids would mess up my jars probably.
