My oldest son is away at college, he cooks for himself, hardly ever eats out, unless we come. He loves cooking.

I haven't seen him since March. He got some $$ from his old job yesterday so I phoned to tell him that I had deposited it for him. He was so excited, he could go and buy new clothes. He said, you know mom, my pants are getting too big...my new shirts I got a christmas almost wrap around my front....even my shoes are too big. He was so excited! He has lost enough weight to go down three sizes in pants, shirts, etc. How? Chinese, Japanese and Vietnaese food. All vegetables with small portions of meat and rice. He buys all fresh at this co-op. His best friend is Chinese and his mother is teaching Chris to cook very healthy meals.

I am so excited for him. When he was home at Christmas, I looked at him, and he looked as if he had put the Fr. Soph, Jr, Sr. 15 x 4 pounds on since Summer. But he rides his bike everywhere, sometimes 15 - 20 miles to get where he wants to go....and then his food.

I am so excited for him....and he is thrilled.
What a way to end this part of his college career.

Now wait till I tell you about son #2....amazing!

That's awesome Cathy! Good for him!!!

Out of our beliefs are born deeds; out of our deeds we form habits; out of our habits grows our character; and on our character we build our destiny.
