I just did 52 mins on my bike. I go at about a 15mph pace.

I just calculated the calories burned with a tool online, and it says 1,119 cals burned..that's gotta be wrong.

I weigh 268.....but still...that's way too many. I"m guessing about 300.

I'm taking the weekend off...then Monday I'll be at the gym for my regular 40 mins elliptical and Monday is lower body weights.

Wednesday and Thursday: Off

I have had a real problem adjusting to being back at work (from a sleep perspective) after 2 1/2 weeks of vacation (I almost never take more than a week off at one time so this has been a real adjustment).

I must have done a good job on Tuesday, though, because I was SO sore yesterday from Tuesday's ab workout...upper abs, lower abs and obliques...everything was sore.

Personal Healthy Habits Challenge - 10/1 to 12/31/08:
1. Exercise: Get back to consistently working out 3-5 X week.
2. Food: Get back to consistently preparing healthy lunches for the week with increased veg servings.
3. Behavior: Reduce intake of sweets.

Well I started the walk Kansas program at work and they say for every 15 min. of exercise or movement is 1 mile. So last week I went 13 miles this week I am aiming for 15 miles. There are 3 of us that is really working hard and are competing with each other and so I want to keep my miles up.

Tuesday: Core Abs (Pilates, balance ball, etc.) (30 mins.)

HOLY MOSES! You'd think I'd been away from (intentional) exercise for 6 months and not even 2 weeks judging by the way I felt doing my abs workout this morning. Whew! Everything that doesn't usually hurt, did, and my flexibility and ab strength was much lower than usual. Interesting!

Monday p.m. 1 hour belly dancing class done.

Big snow storm coming through tonight, so I have a feeling my morning water aerobics class will be cancelled. I might have to ride the bike or do DDR instead.

If the weather holds out I need to start walking again and asap. I have some other exercizes I can do sitting down and lying on a mat. I want to get my notebook out and start with all the ones I found I can do and work on those. Getting some mobility back. I have lost so much this winter. Time to get it back!!!!
