Does anyone know a good website or book that lists calories for just about anything. There are a number of foods I eat throughout the day that do not have nutritional info on them and I am really trying to keep track of my daily calories. I did find one website that lists basic foods but the list wasn't very long.
Thanks,
JIll

If fitday says that you can eat 3,000 cals... I wouldn't believe it... even if you want to. Smiler

I agree Denise. Although I think that about most calculators - they overestimate how many calories I burn and how much I can eat to maintain.

summer 7 challenge goals:
- Meditate every day
- Start the day with positive imagery and self talk

I like this one: http://www.caloriesperhour.com/index.html

The Food and Nutrition Calculator page is pretty robust. Most of the things I eat are listed there, or at least a reasonably close substitute.

When the item I have eaten was not in Fitday http://www.fitday.com/, I go to the calorie king site and I usually find what I am looking for there.

I am not a calorie counter, but here is a searchable database:

http://www.nal.usda.gov/fnic/foodcomp/search/

I did a test search, and calories are listed in the Energy row.
