Last week, you gave yourself a mid-year performance appraisal. This week, since you are your own CEO and CFO, you can determine what your mid-year bonus will be. How are you going to reward yourself for all your accomplishments so far this year?

And if you're setting goals for the end of the year, what kind of year-end "raise and bonus" are you working toward?

I was on an amazing role last year...But, I had three deaths in the family that kinda put me in a funk!

But, I am back on track..and I am about to hit the 80lbs mark!!! For a reward...Just happy I am losing and that I want to keep going so that I can buy even smaller clothes!!

We're taking my "dream" trip to New York this year, unless another hurricane derails us. I'm looking SO forward to that, and it really keeps me motivated when I start to lose focus. I want to do some shopping, and I want to find things in my size.

So that trip (and the shopping included) is my reward for losing or maintaining.

Challenge Goals:
*10 minutes of unplanned exercise five times a week
*Gym time twice a week
*Socialize at least once every two weeks.

July last year was when I got fed up with being the size I was and began to move towards losing weight. I am now 18-19 lbs lighter and to celebrate that I just might go shopping. Some of my old pants really do look weird on me now, and I'm not going to wait to fit into my jeans from '96.

Edited to add: Of course I'm still in the great girls' section, and I don't see myself fitting into regular sizes anytime soon...not even at goal weight <sigh>

I am getting an in-person visit from Denise as my mid-year bonus. If that doesn't motivate me to up my game by the end of the year, I don't know what will! Wink

(Denise and her family are visiting Washington, DC this summer.)

Goals:
1. Exercise-Cardio: 2-3 walking or DVD cardio workouts per week.
2. Exercise-Weights/Toning: 1-2 weight plus 1 toning workout per week.
3. Food: Increase veggie servings back to where they were.
4. Behavior: Reduce sweets.

I'm getting a pedi this Thursday-

Not sure what I am working toward-- mostly I want to turn 40 feeling thin and healhty. That'd be the best reward.

Summer Goal:
Eat Sitting Down

I too have a massage scheduled and dh told me to go ahead and get a pedicure as well. My feet are taking a beating from all the running.

I'm getting a massage at the end of summer semester.

And a week of vacation starting next Monday.

Life is like a roller coaster, with lots of ups and downs, but the curves, spirals, loops and corkscrews are what make life interesting.
