I promised a while ago to post some photos of my new self (and one of my old self). I finally got DH to take a decent photo, and I've uploaded it, along with an old photo (and a snapshot of a window in the house I'm moving to) here:

Wonderful pictures. I loved the window in your new home--how fun to be moving into a home with a wonderful window like that and with all the weight gone just think how much energy you are going to have to decorate and make your new house---your home.
Great job

I agree. The kicky little haircut and the great colors in your clothes don't make you look older. Be glad you are looking younger than you actually are. It's something that used to bother me, but now that I'm looking at 40, it feels really good to have someone not believe me when I say I'm 38. I just laugh and pull out the ID. When I was in my teens people would think I was older, but since I was about 25 people have guessed me younger. I have been told, half joking, that it's a capricorn thing. LOL Your birthday isn't dec/jan is it? Wink

Thanks! I actually had my hair cut the way it is now a few weeks ago after a real estate agent who was showing our house asked for my mother when I answered the door.

I went to a bridal shower Sunday (the day DH took the picture) with my 23 year old sister. Whenever we were introduced to a distant relative by my mother, they would ask my sister how her kids are doing. I would jump in and say "Actually, those would be my kids. I'm the older one, and Shannon here doesn't have any kids yet". By the end of the party, my sister was pretty upset that everyone thought she was older than my 31, but I'll let her know that I just look younger than her 23!
