Anyone doing anything interesting with clothes?

I just bought a teeshirt from thetomatohead.com that reads, "Food Gotta Cook Don't Come Out of a Can" which got me thinking about the "outfit" I bought last month to work out in at the gym when I first signed up and got my personal trainer.

I bought it mail order (and bad, bad, I don't return things that don't fit) and the yoga pants are too big and at least 2 inches too long. So, I'm taking them tomorrow (I promise!) to a cleaner that also advertises themselves as a tailor and have the waist taken in and the hem up so I can wear them but I kind of let them go this long because I figured I'd lose enough weight by now to make it pointless as the pants would be way too big.

But I like the idea of having a spiffy new teeshirt to remind me about food and what I'm working on in an interesting way.

When I was in Nashville, I spent a little time at Opry Mills. I didn't really like the place much because of the layout of it, but it did have some of my favorite outlets and I got some good pieces. I got some great sweaters and a sexy cranberry top at Ann Taylor LOFT, a nice little cami to wear under sweaters at Banana Republic, and a couple of T-shirts at The Gap. Also some new bras at the L'eggs/Hanes/Bali outlet. I am dangerous when I shop alone.

My favorite new pieces:

A baby blue long-sleeved V-neck T-shirt that I picked up at Eddie Bauer Outlet on my last trip to Rehoboth before I went to Kauai. I wore it on the 13-hour plane ride to Kauai and it was SO soft and comfy--can't stop wearing it since!

A "light" sports bra from Jockey Outlet. I say "light" because it's much softer and lighter than a regular sports bra but has the same cut. I love wearing it while doing errands and such as well as for working out (wore it on the long plane ride too, instead of my usual underwire bra).

Navy blue Tekgear capri sport pants from Kohl's with a white stripe down the side. I have always avoided the "silky" type sports pants but these fit like a dream and are SO comfortable that I couldn't pass them up.

Speedo flip-flops (got 'em at Kohl's on sale). They're cute and, though I haven't worn them much yet, they seem very comfortable. They're much more substantial than most of the flip-flops being sold today and, with my feet not being the greatest, I need that support.

Personal Healthy Habits Challenge - 10/1 to 12/31/08:
1. Exercise: Get back to consistently working out 3-5 X week.
2. Food: Get back to consistently preparing healthy lunches for the week with increased veg servings.
3. Behavior: Reduce intake of sweets.
