There is a button on the KQED website that says "Support this Program and Pledge now".
There is a way to order a DVD (or books) for a $60+ pledge.
Might influence some of your local PBS stations if you let them know that your $60 is going across the country, and that you would RATHER support your PBS station and would like them to carry the show...
Of course for months on end, I do nothing on Saturdays... and this one Saturday I have play out of town... and Jamie has a Jazz band thing... so no one will be home.
I'm going to try and start the VCR and leave the house...

I think she is very busy, I'm not seeing her in person or anything...
But you could have driven up to see me.
I am hoping to come up in August. Don and I really need a weekend alone again. Would love to come and stay in your town, and then go into the city again on Bart. That was fun, and a very nice weekend for he and I. So, I will make sure I email you if we do decide to do that. We had said we weren't doing ANY trips this summer because of the cost of gas, but I am hoping that we can save a bit of $$ to be able to do that.
Blessings,
Lori

I am watching the program right now and it's GREAT! I got all choked up as soon as the program started because it was just so good to see Kathleen back on TV and because, well, seeing Kathleen on TV is more personal than Rachel Ray or Ina Garten because I've met her and talked to her and posted here with her.
I just got off the phone from making my pledge to get the DVD--since I already own all the other gifts they're offering.

I did find out that our local PBS station is hosting a Healthy Kids fair in conjunction with Kaiser Permanente on June 24. I have an email into KVPT to see if KD is possibly being invited to be a speaker at this event (they did say there would be cooking demonstrations aimed at healthy kid friendly foods....something Kathleen is great at). Haven't heard back yet.
Blessings,
Lori

You guys are all lucky, ours won't be airing until NEXT week. The 10th. I have the Tivo set to record it. It is a 90 minutte program! I would imagine probably only 60 minutes with pledge breaks....we'll have to see
Blessings,
Lori

WOOOOOHOOOO!!!! I just checked the Philly PBS station that we get-CT is on at 4PM today and 3 PM tomorrow!!!! This is after I was told they would not be airing the show so anyone else who was told this needs to check their listing because you might be surprised.
I have to tell you-when I saw the listing I freaked out! I'm sure morgan is awake now because I am pretty sure I screamed out when I saw it!
I won't be home though so I'll have to tape it and watch later Jill
