This weekend I became the proud new owner of an aerobic step. And I have no idea what to do with it!! Does anyone have a suggestion of a good workout tape to use with it? I need a range of ability. I'm just starting out and would like to progress along.
Thanks,
Max

Kathy Smith just released a step aerobics DVD that originally came out in the mid 80s (?). I bought it and really like it. It's got three levels of routines and is a good workout.
I also use my step with the Firm DVDs. If you turn it vertical instead of horizontal, you have a sufficient fanny lifter (especially if it's adjustable).
Life is like a roller coaster, with lots of ups and downs, but the curves, spirals, loops and corkscrews are what make life interesting.
I use a stepper sometimes. There are loads of videos/dvds available to try at the library or at a Target type of store. It might also be helpful to take a couple beginner classes, see what the basic steps are and then you could even create your own routine. In the mean time, you can step up, down and then repeat over and over- you'll get a great workout. Make sure that your whole foot comes onto the step and that the stepper is stable so you don't fall.
