Hi everyone. Well, I am happy to post that he is here...the baby. I had him on April 21st and we have been both adjusting to our new life as a family. So far things are going well and I am feeling well (with some lack of sleep mixed in).
Just wanted to touch base and let you all know. I will probaly be more of a reader these next few months, but wanted to say hello.

Copngrat, Steph.. I will echo the sentiments of enjoying him while he is little --- they grow oh so fast, and you only have pics to remember or memories. Play, sing, dance --- sleep when he does, because once they are teens, there is NO sleeping! Bless your little family!

Take care of yourself and enjoy this time when he is little very much!!!!
Some days can seem very long, especially when you are sleep deprived... but the months and years FLY by. Take a nap when he does, is my best advice. I took many, many, many naps in a recliner when Jamie was an infant and he would sleep on my chest. I don't regret one second of that time and NEVER, EVER think, "Gee... I should have been folding laundry... or doing dishes... or doing exercise videos". You don't get that time back, and enjoy every single second of it.
Enjoy his baby days... because he will be a toddler before you know it. And then enjoy his toddlerhood... because he'll be in school before you know it. And then he'll be half way thru HS before you know it!
Second bit of advice... find a "Baby and Me" group or class. I went out for coffee with my "Baby and Me" friends just this past Tuesday... and our babies are all 16 and 17 years old.
Goals: 1. Stop thinking like a chronic dieter and start living to inspire. 2. HALT (hungry, anxious, lonely, tired) I will stop and tune in with myself should I experience these things, and respond with something healthy. 3. One word 2008: courage 4. Eat slow and mindfully.
