Hooray for the Dinner co-op! I wish I had enough larger families, similar in size to my own where the mom's cook to start something like this! It would be so great! It would also be a huge help in the summer with the heat....BUT I think we may actually have a solution for that this year!!!! I think we are going to set up an outdoor kitchen for me. We have a large campstove that is on legs, and a grill with an extra burner.....I think we are going to make a little "summer kitchen" for me
Blessings,
Lori

I like 7 layer burritoes pretty well. Actually, what I made at home wasn’t all that good, but it was only about 350 calories compared to the 530 Taco Bell cals. And it was fine. (Fat free) Bologna sandwich and corn soup. Way less sat. fat than Taco Bell, less cals. That is a win/win.
Thank you all for the support!

LOL!!
I've backslid bad and we can't find the sink again... BUT I made a sandwich and had some leftover soup (which was very good cold as it is a hot day AND I couldn't find a clean bowl to heat it in the microwave so I just ate it straight from the fridge out of the tupperware thing...)
You guys are the best.
Had to get another teacher to sign something and standardized testing is going on so her classroom was empty so we discussed the meaning of life and had 3 Oreos (which she keeps in her classroom... usually I say no... but I was OK saying yes today).
Washed the blender and made a smothie with an orange and some skim milk.
Pulled a serving of beans out of the freezer for after class at 5pm...
Back to school... See you later!

I won't eat it either Whole wheat tortillas, canned low sodium refried beans, scrambled eggs, OR beef or chicken and jarred salsa- quickie EASY. I bet that culinary wizard son of yours can make these for his busy Mom! Tell him, Chef Kathleen said to test the recipe and send me notes on how to make it taste even better
I made the detour to Wendy's last night on the way home and I am SO disappointed in myself. I had such a great record going of not stopping at fast food places and now I have to start over. I know you don't want to feel that way, so just keep up your chant and you'll do fine!

You go girl. I was having the same problem today. It's rainy and gross here and I just wanted a hot lunch, but I didn't want to cook. But I thought to myself, what would all those great forum folks do. I resisted all the fast food while on my errands. I came home and made a grilled cheese. Far better for me than the burger and fries I would have had. Thanks for the inspiration.
GO Denise, you can do it! Learn from my mistake. I ate one of those the other day and it wasn't all that great. I could have found something better in my fridge or pantry and not had "buyers remorse".

You can make it today without the fast food places. You can do it! You are a strong capable woman who knows that her body is screaming for healthy food, not grease. Be good to Denise' body and give her healthy food, she will thank you for it. You can do it.
10 points for writing here, rather than going to TB!!!!! Yeah, your side!
