Many of us are redoubling our efforts to make up for Halloween indulgences. So, since we're already being super clean with our eating, it's time to add another step to it.

Clean up those dusty attitudes and habits with what I call an "attitude adjustment day". This is something that I've done for years off and on, and thought I'd share the idea with everybody.

Dress up for yourself today. Put on your favorite feel good clothes, use your favorite perfumes and soaps. Eat on your best dishes, with or without candlelight. Pull out your best tea cups for your coffee or tea. Add 5 minutes of stretching to your workout, those stretches can feel so good at the end of the workout.

Today, I pulled out one of my favorite sweaters, made my favorite breakfast, pulled out a comfy skirt for work, and had breakfast with my hubby. Tonight, I'm going to go play volleyball, wearing my favorite sweats and sweatshirt, we're having one of my favorite KD cookbook #2 recipes, and will play with my dog for an extra five minutes.

Sometime today will be a tall glass of green tea over ice, and one of my favorite leftover lunches: gumbo. Woohoo!!

Life is like a roller coaster, with lots of ups and downs, but the curves, spirals, loops and corkscrews are what make life interesting.

I didn't see this assignment until right now (6:20 PM). I feel like a drowned rat after standing in the rain for so long. I'm going to put on my favorite pair of pjs and light a fire while watching election returns.

Out of our beliefs are born deeds; out of our deeds we form habits; out of our habits grows our character; and on our character we build our destiny.

Funny, I already grabbed my t-shirt that makes me feel good and put it on today. I will sneak into the bathroom for make-up in hopes to get there without ds. I am going to use a real plate for myself instead of paper. If Mom gets Juice when she is out today; I will have a tea party with my daughter who can't go to preschool today because she is sick. This sounds like fun. Then three hours of blissful quilting without any children. The without any children is the part that really makes it blissful. :-)

I think that I will do a lot of this homework tomorrow. I wanted to hit the Clinique counter for a make over today... but realized that I don't have time... so tomorrow!

I'll wear a nice sweater today and slow down and drink some tea today.

I am so tired of campaigns, rhetoric, and being manipulated by election "stuff"....that this is a wonderful idea. Readjust my attitude.

Today, I am typing our states PTA convention booklet. I volunteered, but never dreamed it was going to be such an undertaking. I may not finish it on time. I will live with that. I did my best.

So I am going to take your advice, treat me well today. Stop for lunch, put my fav comfy clothes on, put on some makeup and feel good.

Thanks for a great day of homework!

Cathy
