Which one?

I'm going to a conference at DePauw, I think the town is Greencastle. I haven't ever been there before.
Greencastle is very small. DePauw is really about the only thing there. It is a pretty little Midwestern town though. We have some good friends that live there. When I've been there it has pretty much just been to visit them.
There are several university towns about an hour away from Indy so that's why I asked. I've been to most of them at one point or another having lived in Central Indiana for 30+ years.

I love family get togethers!!! Last night the "baby" of my generation got married. We had so many out of town relatives that made it up here. Now I am getting ready to head to my Aunt's to see them all for breakfast. I just love being the part of such a huge extended family.

I love my husband, our doggy, my family and friends. I love teaching.
I love doing random acts of kindness and showing my students that they are unique, smart, loving and caring human beings. I love getting a hug from them, seeing them smile, watching them have a lightbulb moment and knowing that they feel safe with me.

I love writing. I love having the opportunity to be creative and not caring what others think about my works. I love being able to feel that confident and would love to be able to make that work into other areas of my life.
I love working with children...I hate that they have to have been hurt to come to me.
I love being a mother, I hate that my children are grown and I have been put on "retainer" status in their lives.
I love the idea that my dh and I are beginning to find ourselves again, and realize why we married each other so long ago.
I love my dogs...if it weren't for them, I'd have no reason to be so very content, they teach me so much.
and more later
It's never too late to get it right.

For as much as I moan and groan about it... I LOVE working retail. I spent the day remerchandising an area of my store. I had a lot of sweet customers poking through telling me how much nicer the store has been looking. I had a manager up from another store for me to work with as a head start to my training (management here I come..)
I love my neice, well my whole family. But for a 16 y/o who just got her licience, she surprises me still. I just called and she couldn't talk because she was going to the grocery store to get the food for the week so her grandmother wouldn't have to. I know that wasn't what I was doing on a Friday night when I got my licience.

The thing is that all my CLOSE friends are poor. They MIGHT be able to afford a very cheap cruise or trip to the Bahamas but only if they really worked hard to save up and that isn't in their nature for the most part.
This is when having a very small circle of friends is a disadvantage. But I have already started to think of one or two coworkers or former coworkers that might be a possibility. I hadn't even THOUGHT about married people. Not that I have many friends who are married people but I do have coworkers who are.

That is AWESOME! You must be so excited.

Hey, I'd certainly consider that! We may have never met but we have "known" one another for quite a while and know a good bit about one another--at least in regards to eating and exercising behavior! LOL
Some of us in the flychat have fantasized about the whole KD Team going on a cruise together. That would be SO awesome. The reality of that is probably very unlikely, but it would be a pretty cool vacation.

I have a bad feeling that my travel group is finally falling apart...or that I am being omitted from it...nothing for sure, just my gut...and it would really break my heart if that happened.
Oh, no Sheri! I totally understand how awful this would be. Start asking around your friends though. I started talking about Europe and found out my girlfriend that did the Avon Walk with me would like to go with me. She has a SO but he doesn't want to leave the country so even the not so single ones might be interested. I think she and I would be great traveling companions. If we survived a hail storm in a tent I bet we can manage hotels and airplanes.

I love travelling. I spent a LOT of years of my life with either no money to travel or nobody to travel with. In 1996, I started travelling once a year with a group I met online in the early 90s. I am SO blessed to have had that opportunity.
I remember in my 20s looking longingly at travel posters for Hawaii and believing I could never go there. Now I've been there three times. I've been on 4 cruises and have visited many Caribbean islands.

I love traveling too, but don't have any trips planned anytime soon. We are seriously thinking of going to Ireland next summer though for our 10th anniversary.

I love traveling. I have a lot of short trips coming up -- Chicago, a college town near Indianapolis -- and I'm looking forward to each of them. I hate driving, though.
