I got this in an email from Debbie Ford today and thought I'd give folks here a heads up. I'm a little unclear (shocking I know) about what this is going to look like in terms of presentation (daily or weekly emails, something on her website...not sure) but if you are interested in knowing more, let me know and I'll try to make sure I pass the word along. A special note from Debbie

This is the perfect time to prepare for the best summer of your life by joining us for our Summer Self-Esteem Game - 90 days that will fill your inner reservoir of self-confidence and positive feelings so high that by fall anything will be possible for you! This week, we're going to address the self-defeating behaviors that need to be exposed before we get started with the game. I encourage you to give it everything you've got, because, in doing so, what you are setting yourself up for is nothing short of revolutionary. So send this newsletter on to as many people as you can (family, friends and colleagues) and enroll them in joining you in the official start of our Summer Self-Esteem Game on June 6th, 2006 - where you can encourage yourself to success, nourish yourself to success, appreciate yourself to success, and love yourself to success!

LOLOLOL!!! It would be like opening your spam and finding

Smiler Smiler Smiler SmilerHave a Nice Day!!!!! Smiler Smiler Smiler

I post on an other board and the owner has somehow arranged for pop-ups that say things like. "Denise is a beautiful name." "This site is better for you being on it." "You are loved!"

We all get them... I'm not special or anything... but it creeps us out. But he thinks that it will make us feel like we are getting affermations, or something...

Here's the scoop. I don't think I can pull it off but I bet it would be very cool.

Here's How to Play the Game

Find a Buddy:

Find a buddy who is utterly and completely committed to you feeling great about yourself! It's a reciprocal relationship, so find a buddy who is committed to blasting your self-esteem and their own right off the charts. You'll be giving to them, and they'll be giving to you. Your buddy might be a friend, a co-worker, your brother or some other enthusiastic soul. And if you absolutely can't find someone you know, we've set up a message board on my web site to help you find one [look for the new "Self-Esteem Game" navigation button in the left-hand column]. However, it is best to play the game with someone you know.

What you will be doing for your buddy and what your buddy will be doing for you:

1. Twice a day you will send a message to your buddy that will light them up, put a smile on their face and bring a bit of healing into their heart. And it's your buddy's job to send you two messages a day that will do the same for you.

2. When you receive messages from your buddy, stop whatever you're doing, close your eyes, and really drink it in. Repeat the message they've sent to you three times (repeating it out loud is best whenever possible). If you can't say it to yourself out loud, then silently repeat it to yourself three times. If you pick up the phone and your buddy says, "You are a magnetic, delicious human being," rather than quickly running off to the next thing, or getting hung up in a conversation with them, or even trying to give them your words of appreciation for them, just breathe it in, thank them, hang up and repeat it to yourself three times: "I am a magnetic, delicious human being."

3. As mentioned above, you will be sending messages twice a day to your buddy and receiving messages twice a day from your buddy. I recommend changing your method of communication for ease and enjoyment. Mix it up each day; sending a text message and an email one day, and sending a text message and calling your buddy the next.

If you want to do it, email me at p7eggycATaol.com (replace the AT w/@) and I'll forward you the newsletter or just go to her website (thebestyearofyourlife.com) to sign up.

Hmm.... not sure that it would be for me because it sounds like strangers sending you "happy thoughts" notes. If I don't know someone and they don't know me, hearing "You're great!" from them doesn't do it for me.

You'll need a buddy, so start looking.

Until then, know that I am thrilled to begin the game that can radically alter your life...
