The posts update faster than the sigs...sorry for the double post!

I'm getting another glass of water because I didn't make 3 today at work, only two. Then I'm heading out to the garden before it gets any more humid.

Who am I kidding? If it gets more humid, it will rain.

Testing out the signature line but I'm in : )

Out of our beliefs are born deeds; out of our deeds we form habits; out of our habits grows our character; and on our character we build our destiny.

I did get crispy chicken because I hate their grilled chicken. I did not use the ranch dressing-also gross in my opinion, but instead used two packs of their buffalo sauce.

double check the website but I don't think the crispy adds THAT many calories. The crispy doesn't use margarine and when I do stop there I will probably have to do the crispy because I can't have milk. Anyway- even if it adds 100 cals...you are WAY ahead of the gameSmiler Way to go! BK has a really descent salad as well. I just got it the other day.

by the way...I bet the boot on your leg helps you burn more calories!

While I have not yet decided on my goals just thinking about the challenge has made me think more already and make better choices. I have been doing very poorly with eating and exercise. I have to wear the boot on my leg for another six weeks so I am very limited with what I can do physically BUT that does not give me a free ticket to live on junk food. So, I did go to McDonald's today-BUT, rather than getting the quarter pounder w/cheese, medium fries, and a large coke I chose the ranch/bacon salad. I did get crispy chicken because I hate their grilled chicken. I did not use the ranch dressing-also gross in my opinion, but instead used two packs of their buffalo sauce. The sauce totaled 140 calories, but still much better than the package of ranch dressing. By eating the salad vs. the QP value meal, I saved myself a total of 360 calories!! I am babystepping here. Because I know McD's is not the ultimate place to go for a healthy lunch but I am proud of myself for my choices and I got a good amount of lettuce/carrots/tomatoes with my lunch.

Sheri-thank you for starting the Se7en week challenge again-I really, really need this!

Jill

Got in my first workout of the challenge just now. Did a 50-minute sweat-inducing mixture of slow and fast tai chi and kickboxing.
