I'm having a serious attack of the munchies. I had a very early dinner tonight before band rehearsal. I had 1/2 a small CPK thai chicken pizza. Calorie wise it was the right number of calories for dinner but not nearly as filling as my usual meals. After plugging in my food on fitday, I didn't get enough protein today which I'm sure is part of the problem. Plus, I usually don't get home from band until 9 pm but it was our last session of the season so I was home by 7:30. We have almost nothing in the fridge as we are leaving the day after tomorrow. The dark chocolate cookies are calling my name instead : ( I'm trying very, very hard to avoid that. Maybe I should have some peanut butter instead....Better yet, dark chocoalte cookie WITH the peanut butter....No, No, NO!!!!
Ok, I have to keep the big picture in mind - we leave for Spain the day after tomorrow. No going off the wagon prematurely!
Thanks for letting me vent. I'll be less likely to raid the pantry now....

I think that I'm passed the crisis point. I'm going to brush my teeth and go to bed.
As for Sandy's question - it was a combination of things. I should have had more protein at lunch today to offset not having protein at dinner. It was also the time of day. That couple with the small portion I had because of how caloric the pizza was just turned into a recipe for disaster. I think that the next time I have a pizza craving, I'll make my own.

Remember how great you felt when you did some weights (or ab work?) last time the munchies hit?
Is CPK pizza something that leaves you not so satisfied? Do you need to make a change? Or is it just the eating time? Think about how you can change this the next time.
I haven't been buying much in the way of groceries (preparing for the move), but I just stocked up on the air popped pop corn supplies. Would rather move 1 lb. of pop corn kernels than move 4 lbs around on my body for the next month.
