The whole wheat bread being 148 and just barely in the moderate category surprised me since Baked goods such as bread, muffins, doughnuts, and cookies are often high in sodium because they're usually made with baking soda, which has 1,259 mg per teaspoon.

We were at the vet yesterday, my oldest beagle has been put on a low sodium diet...the vet told us that American's are killing their pets with all the processed food we are feeding them, bagged, canned and off our tables. I thought of this homework assignment on the way home, and thought not only am I killing myself with all the salt intake, but now it has affected my very best friends....the beagles....We're all starting a very low sodium diet this weekend. (have to shop you know)
Summer Challenge Goals:
1. Get out of the house and in the pool four days a week. 2. Schedule meals a week at a time. 3. five fruits and vegetables a day, along with water.
