"I'm not a trainer- not be a long shot <Big Grin> but I think that 8 pounds of muscle is a lot of muscle."
Yeah... me too. It seems unrealistic.

Could the change of seasons be adding to water retention and higher weight? Are you enduring lots of heat?
Not yet... not one heat wave. Supposed to be one tomorrow.

"OTOH, if you do not feel bloated, I wonder...
it would seem that you'd be feeling swelling, ring tightness?"
I don't feel bloated at ALL! NO swelling. Rings are loose.

Change in scales? Scale malfunctioning?
LOLOL! No. I checked that today. Was 129 at home and 130 at WW'ers scale. I think that being off one pound is pretty good.

Constipated?
Nope! Everything's working fine! Smiler

I will be back if I come up with any other ideas or thoughts.
Thanks!

Your back looks great- super muscular! Cool!
Thanks. I mostly wear clothes. Smiler I was sort of disapointed with the 30% body fat DEXA test, as I DO have a lot of muscle definition.

I just have to get myself on track 110% for a full month or 8 or 12 weeks. That is probably all there is to it.

I have a few random thoughts...

First, after I got to 126 and hung out there for a while, I inched back to close to 140. No one really noticed the gain until I hit the 10 pound mark. After the 10 pounds I started looking like I was "not thin any more."

Also... I tend to gain and lose very slowly. I could be that the two weeks you spent being super careful is just not enough time for the scale to reflect. (I know that in the past, two weeks has been enough time, but maybe there is some shift?)

I'm not a trainer- not be a long shot Big Grin but I think that 8 pounds of muscle is a lot of muscle.
