Well, I wanted to wish anyone in the path of Hurricane Dennis a good weekend and I'm keeping you in my thoughts. We appear to be OK in So. Fl (although the Keys have been evacuated), but after last year and the sharp turns a couple of hurricanes took, I never feel completely safe until it's gone. Right now, we're just living 3 hours at a time (that's how often NOAA gives updates). They say we will have up to 30-40 mile an hour winds just from the outskirts of the storm way over here on the east coast of FL. Anyway, for those of you in the path, I'll be thinking of you.

Glad you are safe. We are fine in Miami, too. Lots of rain and around 40-60 mile an hour winds, but no damage. Lots of people lost power, but we thankfully, we never did.
Those of you in the panhandle are in my prayers.

We are ok over here, the Tampa area!! It looks on tv like we are being pummelled, but we have just had spurts of heavy rain and wind. There were a couple of tornadoes in our area but we weren't touched. The humidity is the worst!!

My thoughts are with everybody affected by the storms. My husband just completed his training on the Red Cross ECRV (I think it's Emergency Communications Restoration Vehicle)and has been put on stand-by for the storm areas. Hopefully he won't be needed!
