KD-I know you are a busy woman. I know there is another thread about this page vs. a FB page and I think it was pretty unanimous that we like this page.

Here are some things I miss:
1. New recipes-your recipes-I do love the ones you post from others but I especially love yours. I choose at least 2 recipes a week from your books when I plan a weekly menu.

2. Success stories-I know a lot here reached their goals and are maintaining but a good success story motivates the heck out of me so even if no one here has a story, maybe someone you know or maybe one of the members here knows.

3. Your blogs, your sister's blogs (not sure if they are blogs/articles but I always loved reading them and actually go back and re-read sometimes.)

Jill

I have no specific goal(s) right now. I am trying to find the spiritual side of myself that I lost somewhere along the way.

this may actually produce a HOOK of all things

so remember to adjust accordingly. And remember that you are attempting to wrap that club around yourr11 driver body. You want a horizontal swing plane, not vertical. That's what this level shoulder turn is reallytaylormade r11 driver accomplishing. You'll find it so much easier to release through the ball correctly, and to square up the face of your club at impact.

The spamming has gotten beyond obnoxious. I have reported over a 1/2 dozen spam posts in recent weeks. I can't believe the webmaster (if there is still one) can't block the IP address of the spammers...it seems to be mostly the same subject (golf) so it's probably the same person using different names...or maybe it's bots.

I also miss Judy! One of the spamers bumped up her post and it I had a tug on my heart strings seeing her name.

An effective golf swing takes
quite a bit of practice to perfect. People spend years working on their swing. Keep in mind that the r11 driverobject is to get the ball into the hole at or under par for that hole….but the swing is what determines taylormade r11 driverwhether that actually happens or not. Essentially, a proper golf swing determines the entire outcome of the game!

I miss KD posting messages in her Fan Forum.

(Something bad must be going on in her life, but she doesn't trust us enough to tell us what it is.)

Goal: Stop stress snacking.

I agree, but how about Howard Fineman, Howard Kurtz, and John Meacham abandoning Newsweek? (Although that is a bit different since Newsweek looked terminal).

But you will still be allowed many articles to read per month. I, too bemoaned the lack of access, until I read that so many articles would still be free.

There is always the library - my small library in Ohio does carry The Times .

Our newspapers have been very generous with their free access for many years - to their own detriment. Circulation is down, newspapers are fighting for their lives. Seems a small price to pay to still have the newspaper.

I'm curious Susan - what are your ten items?

Mine is a list of foods I never buy any more, because they can't be trusted not to fly into my open mouth.

Potato chips
Girl Scout cookies
Honey Nut Cheerios
Breyer's mint chocolate chip ice cream
French fries
Chips Ahoy
Cinnamon buns
Granola
M&Ms
Trail mix

There are also lots of foods I avoid when I'm eating out, like hot dogs or milk shakes. But, with either list, I can't say I never eat these foods any more. It's just an extremely rare treat when I do.

Here's the problem -- I still manage to overeat even when most of my choices are healthy ones. So the struggle rages on.

There are lots of things I very rarely eat but only a few that I've cut out entirely.

I've completely given up ground beef - I haven't had a hamburger in 9 years. Beyond the calorie/fat implications, I have issue with all the recalls and e-coli scares associated with the processing of ground beef.

I also don't eat anything "alfredo".

In the once in a very blue moon category would be:
red meat
fried food
sausage
deep dish pizza (I can count on one hand how many slices of deep dish I've had in the last 9 years)

Susan ha ha!!! That is funny but made me think. At first I thought about "what foods don't I eat anymore?" and I thought, well I eat anything, I haven't cut out anything really. But I thought about it again-and there are things I no longer eat. I no longer buy anything like boxed mac-n-cheese, pre-packaged meals, and very rarely do I use canned foods (except beans and occasionally when I need something for a recipe). As a single mom for many years and living on a small salary, we lived on things that were pre-packaged or just-add-meat things (Hamburger Helper). I now know how bad those things are for us and also don't enjoy eating them. I ate them out of necessity, now I am fortunate to no longer have to do that. I want to put foods into my body that satisfy my taste, hunger, and are good for me. Now don't get me wrong, I do eat junk foods, but not anything close to what I did before. I find more and more lately I will look at a food and my mind automatically thinks "okay, is this providing my body any nutritional value at all?" This has stopped me from eating candy, ice cream, and other foods. I still enjoy everything I like in moderation. Funny-I find my tastes may be changing and I feel much more satisfied now that I'm choosing foods for their nutritional value over how they make me temporarily feel.

There's new stuff on the home page today, though not what you're requesting. At least KD is still around. Maybe we'll get some new recipes and success stories soon.
