He has crammed a lot of things into our tiny mail cube.. but this takes the cake. He folded my "do not bend" certified mail graduate school DIPLOMA in half and shoved in into the 5"x5" mail box. Argh... this makes me so mad.

I can sympathize, and I, too would file that complaint....don't do it on line...go to the PO take the mangled certificate and file the report with a person --- make sure it is a breathing person.

I have been doing swaps of cards etc through the mail for years. All of the sudden in January, mailed large envelopes started being stuffed, crammed, lodged in my slot. These were other people's cards and hard work and money being sent to me to swap with other swappers. RUINED. How do you tell someone their art work is gone due to the PO? Likewise other swappers were finding things smashed to bits also. We vowed we would take our things to the PO and complain and that we did. Haven't heard anything yet, but the mere fact that we did something helped our egos a little.
Now I have an old metal milk carton for the Po man to put my things in.....not legal...but I don't care.

You worked hard for that diploma, you deserve to have one that you can hang on the wall that doesn't look like the dog ate it first. Ask the postmaster to call the school and request a new one, since it was their fault it is mangled.

I am sorry, it shouldn't come like that!

Oh, Fer, that is horrible! You definitely need to file a complaint!!!! And try to get the PO to pay for a duplicate diploma (when I had to get a duplicate high school diploma...mine was lost in a house fire when I was in college) it cost me $35. And that was back 18 years ago, and it was for a HIGH SCHOOL diploma!

Blessings,

In art class we used to have a hot press that would take creases out of paper. Don't know if you have access to anything like that.

That sucks Fer! I would definitely try to file a complaint. Perhaps you can get another diploma mailed to you at your work address.
