I wanted to tell you that my 9 y.o. son has decided he's going to go to Purdue to study engineering so that he can be a roller coaster engineer. LOL!

I thought you'd appreciate that.

My freshman engineering class final required us to build a bridge out of k'nex. It had to support the weight of several really heavy textbooks.

That was the most fun I've ever had with a final! Big Grin

Life is like a roller coaster, with lots of ups and downs, but the curves, spirals, loops and corkscrews are what make life interesting.

He has had K Nex for several year, and a more Legos than I can keep track of and assorted other building things toys. He also has Roller Coaster Tycoon, which he plays until I kick him off the computer.

Hehe.... Good for him!

But tell him to have a back up plan or he'd better like living in europe! Wink (That's where the few roller coaster companies are.)
