Remember back several months ago when I requested prayers for a dear little girl in our church that was dealing with osteosarcoma? And had to have her leg amputated? Well, she is doing great, and her family is considering putting together a team for the Relay for Life in Visalia in September. Would any of you be interested in coming down and walking with us? I need to check for sure to see if my hubby is on board with this, but I'm pretty sure that my family will be participating.
Now one thing to keep in mind is that it is warm in September (ok, I won't lie, it's downright hot) so it will be a lot of work to keep walking for your assigned timeslots in the heat.
Let me know if you might be interested in visiting Visalia for a vacation in September to help raise money for cancer research.
Blessings,
Lori

Oh, and Susan, it is approx. a 4 hour drive (depending, of course) on the traffic. We have made it in 3 1/2, but only once ....the other times have been closer to 4 hours
Blessings,
Lori

I looked it up, it is September 22-23....9 am to 9 am. Would LOVE to have you come down Susan! I can absolutely guarantee that it would be a lot of fun, and the family that is considering getting the team going is awesome! And the courage of Kristen is absolutely incredible. She and her twin sister Kelly are the greatest kids! They have been through so much with their health (they are both diabetic, as well as having to deal with Kristen's cancer) and still they always have smiles on their faces and are spunky
Blessings,
Lori
