Today will be a challenging day for me. We have friends in for the weekend and are hosting dinner here.
Here's my plan: E: none- I have been running around cooking and ironing table linens. B: cereal and skim milk, apple- done L: 1 lg slice French bread, 3 ounces turkey, asparagus, 1 skim milk tea D: (GULP!) 1 c lamb stew, green beans, a hunk baguette, 2 bites French apple tart that is cooling now!
Fat and sat fat will be higher today than normal. My plan is to focus on portion control and to enjoy every bite.
i had a very good saturday. my TOM started so my stomach was too upset to have too much anyway. i added about 30 minutes of dancing in the evening ot my physical activity. yeah!

Had my normal breakfast and then about 9am had 1 McDonalds hash brown on the way to an AVON Skin Care workshop. The workshop lasted until after 2pm so lunch was at 3pm. 6 Chick-Fil-A nuggets and a few waffle fries. Dinner was Lentil Soup.
I've stayed on plan for the last few days, and even ventured out for a short run yesterday. Today I'm feeling more normal, and so far am still exactly on plan.
The week should mostly be on plan, and my exercise will be up at about 80-85% of my normal week. (I'm still fighting my cranky lungs as I am finally kicking the swine flu, so I'm going to cut back my exercise some this week just to be safe.)
Life is like a roller coaster, with lots of ups and downs, but the curves, spirals, loops and corkscrews are what make life interesting.
I was good until dinner where I had some wine and dessert that were both unplanned for.
Plan for today: E: whole wheat eng. muffin with 1 egg L: veggie soup and homemade polenta bread S: a Christmas Ale D: salmon burgers, green beans and mushrooms E: taking down and cleaning screens (we've had a very mild November).

I am glad to say that I had a mostly on plan day. Actually I was nearly always on plan. I ate 4 small bites of dark chocolate that were off plan. Then I ate 3 extra bites of stew. So...I am guessing just 300ish extra calories. Not bad at all.
I was mostly mindful and stayed away from my old, usual pattern of wanting to eat, eat, eat while I clean up. The 3 extra bites of stew were the extent of my eating while I cleaned. Then I just stopped.
The chocolate was superb bittersweet stuff that I am totally fine with eating. It was thoroughly enjoyable.
The last few days have been bad for me, challenge-wise. I've been more off-plan than on, and it seems the bottom has dropped out of my motivation. But since I'm rowing another race tomorrow (last one of the season), my workouts have been consistent and tough. Hope that is enough to offset my chocolate indiscretions.
B: was the usual L: out at a mexican place - I had shrimp fajitas with refried beans and rice (didn't eat it all) S: chocalate and peanut butter covered pretzles D: veggie soup and home made corn bread
E: 1 hour of dance mat with weights and core work when someone else was dancing (I was sweating bullets ; )
