I have zits. I had no problem all summer or Fall, then this last week they start popping up.

one on my jawline, a few at the corners of my mouth, one on my eyebrow, several on my cleavage, and one on my leg.

the one on my jawline seems to be getting huge.

I don't usually get zits, what do you guys do for them?

Ask your dermo for some prescription cloths or cleanser. It's normal to get adult acne.

My skin is the worst this time of year, with the change in seasons. I don't moisturize during the summer and boom, it gets cold and my skin is dying. I get flakes on top of grease.

I try to keep is very simple - exfoliate with a washcloth and cleanser (I use Dr Bronner's hemp almond), witch hazel astringent (TN Dickinsons), very basic moisturizer (Kiss my Face Olive & Aloe) and Nelson's acne gel on any problems at night.

These don't sound at all like pimples. Maybe hives? Or something allergic, like others have said.

If you have insurance, I'd see a dermatologist about these. Otherewise, I'd stick to mild cleansers and oil-free moisturizers to keep from aggravating them further, and whatever you do, DON'T pick!

Since you didn't have problems in the summer or fall, and it is just happening now, I'm wondering if your skin is really dry...I know that sounds counter intuitive, but if your skin is getting dry and flakey from cold weather, you may not be exfoliating enough.

If you have dry skin and don't exfoliate, it can clog your poors.

Also, it could be hormonal or stress, however, generally hormone pimples are on your chin.

Have you switched shampoo, hair products or soap recently? It also could be an allergic reaction. I used to break out around my hair line and jaw a lot and found out it was a reaction to hair products. That can also cause breakouts on your back and chest too, if it is the shampoo or conditioner because that's where those things go when you rinse.

I personally don't recommend alcohol as it is way too drying and harsh.

1. Short term: use and ice cube to reduce redness and swelling. I've also had luck using a toner made from rosewater, witch hazel, lavender oil, and tea tree oil.

2. Cover with makeup.

That said, sounds to me like what you've got isn't normal zits, especially if you aren't prone to them. Could you be coming down with a cold? My sister is getting over a nasty cold, and as part of it she had a few really big pimples in some unusual places (I was forced to inspect a particularly red and angry one in the middle of her back, yuck). You could be getting what she had.

Spring goals:
1. Train for the MS bike ride
2. Try being a localvore.
3. Do something outdoors every day

They could be stress or hormonal. Try to de-stress yourself. At night, after you wash your face, dab them with alchohol. That should dry them up.
