Ah yes...THAT word...

Have any of you read either of the books by Suzanne Summers about changes in your body due to aging and hormonal changes? Or any books dealing with these issues?

I don't think so...

I think that you can read a wide variety of books out there on that subject and the information is often conflicting and you just have to wade thru all the info and talk to the MD's and then figure it out for yourself...

If you put "hormones" into the Mayo Clinic Website... you will get a lot of info...

Does the Dr. Peeke book suggest things you might need to test for, possible treatments & solutions or does it just more or less say "this is what will happen, deal with it."?

I read Suzanne Somer's book that was geared toward Low Carbing and she was waaaaay off base on some of the stuff.

Me too.

I haven't read any other books even though I'm almost 49...

I don't have a whole LOT of hormone issues and since I had a blood clot in the past, I'm not a candidate for HRT... so it is sort of a mute point.

I've seen Suzanne Summers on various shopping channels and I am not impressed with her food/weight loss/suppliment products. She isn't a scientist or a doctor (even though she attempts to play one on TV sometimes...). Smiler
