I have found a wonderful new veggie, that I have never seen before today at the Farmers Market. It was Kohl Rabie. It looks like a commet, it was very good, I would sugest that if any of you see it in your market, give it a try. It tastes like a combo between cabage and Broccli.
have a good day

I have used kohlrabie in soups , raw in a salad as well as in a stirfry. It is also great shredded and added in a coleslaw. I have also eaten it creamed, not so low fat but very Yummy.

Enjoy every minute!

Gee, I've never heard of it. How do you cook it? Is it anything like broccoli rabe?

I adore veggies, and love learning about new ones & new cooking methods. I found a fabulous way to eat brussels sprouts: simmer in chicken broth with tarragon. Yum! The chicken broth makes them tasty and tender, and the tarragon adds a sweet aroma that takes away any trace of bitterness.
