I went walking again this morning (with my friend) despite having fallen from my friend's front steps when I got to her house. I really banged up my knee and it is very stiff and sore now, but I know that it will be fine in a few days. We did walk for 30 minutes this morning and I'm feeling good! Smiler

Congrats, Lori! That's probably the toughest part of our healthy lifestyle.

Today I took a babystep towards a healthier me, and I consider it a move in progress. I know that I have kind of gone backwards from two years ago, but I know that I am making steps forward now!
Today, I exercised without my workout partner! Her husband got called in late last night to do an emergency surgery, and she doesn't sleep well when he's gone at night, so she knew that it would be difficult to get up this morning to walk. She called last night and broke our walk date. That was fine....I figured I could sleep a little later this morning and give my sore muscles a rest. Well, I forgot to change the alarm, so this morning when it went off, I decided to get up and do my WATP and keep up with my routine! I feel so good about it! I'm very excited to have done that!

Blessings,

Lori

I hope I can report in January 2006 that, through increased muscle, my Tanita scale body fat percentage is consistently down to 12.x%. That's going to be a stretch.

One nice thing about this thread is that if somebody EVER posted - like me - I get to keep up on what's going on.

Congratulations, Cathy. I'm still hoping to see 38 pounds - very soon.

38 lbs is nothing to sneeze at! You are doing great! I hope this new accountability piece helps you out. There isn't a lot of action on this thread but lots of people read it so don't feel like you are off in no-man's land. Smiler

Never been to this side of the website. But I thought it was a great place to start my reporting and accountability.

It's only 7:10 and I have already weighedin at the clinic. Not surprised, but not happy, a 214#'s. That's up 2 pounds, but down 38 from when I started. Yeah, my side.

I need to start journaling again and keeping track of morsels that go in my mouth. I need to get back to swimming. Figure out some warm wear to and from the pool! Maybe Santa will bring me an insultated suit.

Back later.

Congrats on the good test results, Linda. I hadn't heard that about pears but I've been eating a good many of them this fall because they've been SO good/sweet. And don't forget the fiber and oats! Those help, too! Smiler

Basically this was good news since this week has been a struggle.

Still hanging in.
