I purchased some Eggland's Best Eggs today. They were almost double the price of the other eggs at the store where I purchased them.

Their claim:

• 180 mg of cholesterol compared to 215 mg of cholesterol
in an ordinary egg

• Higher in vitamin E. At least seven times more than in an ordinary egg

• 25 percent less saturated fat than in an ordinary egg

• 100 mg of Omega 3 which is three times the amount in an ordinary egg.
Studies show Omega 3 to be beneficial to the heart

• 185 mcg of lutein, 25% more than ordinary eggs. Studies show lutein
to be beneficial to to the eyes.

• Higher in iodine, an essential mineral

• 4 grams of total fat compared to 4.5 grams in an ordinary egg

I buy them all the time and like them. I do not have a family to feed so the extra expense is OK. I like getting more omega 3's.

Our grocery store has a store brand that also has more Omega 3s, so you might want to check what's available.

BTW, in the nutritional info, the first number is for the Eggland's eggs and the second number is for regular eggs. (The chart didn't copy very well.)
