At some point, should I stop upping my weights?

In the past I have had trainers redo my routine by dropping the amount of weight I use and increasing the reps. This helps tone more than bulk. Also change the exercises you do for each body part and do new exercises. There are lots of exercises for each muscle group and just by changing the ones you do you will work the muscle in a different way.

I will watch this one with interest. I am beefy enough and want to maintain my strength and work on burning off the blubber over the muscles.

I'm definitely at a place where I want to maintain my current muscle definition and not add any extra bulk.

For my upper body I lift between 20 - 30 pounds depending on the muscle group.

For lower body, 70 - 90 pounds.

BTW, this is using free weights, not the machines.
