WW Points for CT Recipes?

There are so many great CT recipes I'd like to try, but since the Nutritional Information is not included for any of them, I can't easily figure out the Weight Watchers points for them.
Then it occurred to me that so many others on the board are WWers, too; has anyone taken the time to figure out the points for some of your favorite recipes? If so, would you be willing to share the information?
I know it can be done with the Mastercook computer program, but I don't have that.
Thanks

We did this for Thanksgiving Dinner at one of our meetings, figured out points for things that weren't listed in the book, like Aunt Mae's sweet potatoes. So, as hard as it sounds, it's rather simple.

1. Find your recipe
2. Break down the ingredients and find those listed in the points book
3. Add them up and divide by the number of servings.

The new points book (came out last year) has cooking ingredients, flour, sugar, etc in it, so this makes it a lot easier to figure your points.

For me, I'll add a point or two just to be sure...to some recipes if I am questioning it....doesn't hurt. I also don't find more than three or four recipes a week to do this with, but then write them down in KD"s book so that I have them.

It would be great if in future books, the nutritional information was included, but for now...this works best for me.

It's never too late to get it right.

While on the one hand I would like to have that information, on the other hand I understand why she doesn't do it.

Different brands have different stats. For example, if you make a recipe calling for canned black beans and don't use exactly the same brand and same size as was used in the test recipe you could be getting more calories and fat than what is listed in the book.

Also if you use a cooking spray and she did not then you could have as much as 30-50 more calories from fat than what is listed for that recipe depending on how long you spray.

One other idea, a lot of recipes are still on Food Network's website, you just have to search for Cooking Thin and follow some links, those have nutrition posted.

Jill - Thanks for the points for the pizza recipe. The thing is, I don't HAVE a favorite CT recipe yet. Lots of them look fantastic, but I won't make them if I don't know the points ahead of time.
This has been my only disappointment with KD's books. I won't even buy a cookbook that doesn't have the NI available for each recipe, and I've begged KD repeatedly to consider adding it to her books. I've only checked the CT books out from the library, but would love to own them.
CT recipes on Food Network TV website have the NI available.

I go on the WW community board and go to the recipe section. I ask someone to plug in the recipe to their paid version of WW on-line and they will respond with the points!!!! It is a super way to get those points when you don't have the nutritional information.

I looked through my CT books, the only one I ever figured out was for the Easy Pizza Dough.
This is in the first book, for 6 servings the dough is 4PTS and for 8 servings it is 3PTS.

I have no specific goal(s) right now. I am trying to find the spiritual side of myself that I lost somewhere along the way.

I've often wondered this same thing, too.
Maybe you could take a favorite recipe to your WW leader? Seems they used to have some sort of tool to calculate nutrition data according to the ingredients.
