My favorite artist (the one from the Native American Festivals) is going to be at the Atlanta Gift Show from Jan 10 to the 17. It is not open to the public and I don't have a business license .
Here's what i found on their website for admissions:
Visitors to AMERICASMART must be an active member of the retail or wholesale industry and be affiliated with a business that resell’s product represented in our buildings. Business credentials and/or passes must be presented for entrance into any of the buildings. Wholesale & Retail Business Credentials Required for Admittance:
All of the Following: Current retail business license or federal resale tax certificate(International Businesses are required to show VAT) Imprinted business check Corporate credit card or proof of merchant credit card ID # Photo ID (one per buyer) or passport Personalized business ID (business card or cancelled payroll check) One per buyer required Plus One of the Following: White or yellow page business phone listing Current year executed sales tax return or sales tax coupon book Lease agreement for commercial space Photo of retail store front with company name/logo/signage clearly displayed
Current Invoices showing you purchase Mart-related Merchandise in quantity for resale

Not sure. I think it would have to be someone who sells the products being displayed(ie:giftware) but it could be anybody with a business license.
The lady dd is a nanny for has her own software business so we are going to ask her to see if she can get us in but I don't know if she is in the "right kind" of business or not.

wow, i just checked out the link. i can understand why you are moved by the work.
what kind of business license? i can email some artists friends of mine and put some feelers out there. i am only 5 hours from atlanta so it is possible that some of our local artists are planning on attending. i don't know, just brainstorming.
