I've been at or below my WW goal weight two years today.
You all have been a tremendous source of support to me... both getting here and staying here!!!
I have seen such significant changes in my health since 2001. Back then, I thought that I was kind of heavy (but not obese… I was sooooo offended when a Dr. wrote obese on my chart… ok… technically… I WAS obese…) I though I was a little heavy but I was healthy and strong and fit… and then I had a wake up call… No… I’m not healthy and fit…I’m just fat and I need to lose it and I’m not going to lose the same dumb lbs over and over and over again.
So that got me started… but you all help me keep going!
My BP is better than "normal". Ditto my cholesterol. My asthma is GONE. Haven't filled an inhaler perscription in YEARS. No more night sweats. Knees are better than ever.
Special Thanks to KD for providing the board and everybody who posts and keeps the board alive. It has been a tremendous help to me!

Way to go Denise! I don't know why I'm just now seeing this? Anyway, congrats to you! You are an inspiration and you help me with almost everything you post.

Congrats, Denise!! What an incredible achievement. When the Nancy Negative inside me tries to tell me that no one is successful at maintaining weight loss over the long term so why bother, I chime in and say "You're wrong! Denise is living proof!"
I hope to be just like you when I grow up. (grin)
